La Colombe
We invite you to stay with us and enjoy the studios as your own home for however long you want to stay. We will guide you to some of the best beaches, walks, towns and villages we have discovered here in the Pays Basque region.
La Colombe is our traditional style Basque family home and has all the features of the architecture from this region, white washed walls and wooden shutters to shut out the heat of the day. We live here with our young family and just love the tranquility and beauty of this unique region.

which in French are called La Colombe
We have created at la Colombe two independant and spacious self catering studio apartments with everything you need for your stay. Each studio has its own private access and terrace where you can relax and enjoy the sun with your morning coffee and in the evening a glass of wine as you watch the sun disappear behind the magnificent Pyrenees from your own garden.
The Pyrenees Atlantic region really does have all you could dream of. We are just minutes away from the Cote Basque and her fabulous beaches and the famous Atlantic surf, this is Europe's number one location for surfing.
Here we are also surrounded by some of the most picturesque mountain villages each specialising in traditional delicacies such as the unique and tasty Brebis cheese, Cerese Noir a black cherry made into jam/confiture, Chocolate, Gateaux Basque, and Piments which are the chillies used in local dishes

This region also has some fasinating history and spectacular walks and is the piece de resistance for all creative souls who are in search of inspiration for their artists easle, camera tripod or writers pen.

The Evening sunset's are wonderful this is one as seen from the garden we watched as the sun dissapeared and turned the clouds and sky so many shades or red, pink and purple.
